The Details
I fully immerse myself in each client’s consultation.

The process begins with prep work in advance based on a client questionnaire. I create a bagua map and begin assessing your home or business, doing any research that is needed in advance.

Next, I will spend two in-person hours in your environment with you. We’ll discuss what’s going on in your life and then walk through the space. I’ll show you how your space is impacting you and offer suggestions based on the principles of Feng Shui and your unique goals and life. We’ll discuss what I offer so that we find solutions that are a good fit and that you’re excited to implement.

After our time together, I will write up and send you a detailed email with those suggested “cures.”

We do a final follow-up phone call with you that offers accountability, client support, and answers any questions you may have regarding the completed consultation.
DECLUTTERING

The Details
In three-hour sessions, we will declutter your home using the KonMari method, complemented by Feng Shui principles. Before our session, you'll complete a concise questionnaire to help me personalize the experience based on your goals and life circumstances.
We'll collaboratively decide what to keep, toss, or donate, then reset your space to enhance your lifestyle and household goals. This process is designed to be fun, deeply supportive, and give space for emotions that may come up, ensuring you feel understood and uplifted throughout.
CALIFORNIA NATIVE PLANT CONSULTS
$90 / HOUR
Plant consultations help Bay Area homeowners understand the impact of the environment on their lives by educating and sharing knowledge of native plants. Native plants are our area's most appropriate landscaping choices, bringing in beneficial birds and insects, saving water, increasing fire resiliency, reducing allergens, and showing you the seasons! Seasons do exist in California when you can see the native plants! ;)
Plant consultations help improve your space and the aesthetics of the landscaping in and around your home or business.

Garden Walking Session
Together, we’ll explore the natural environment around your home or business. I’ll use my expertise in locally native plants to highlight what is and is not native and how you can enhance the space with additional native plant life, remove plants that are not working, and create a sanctuary of nature right beyond your door.
Plant Palette Session
Not sure what plants are native to your address in the Bay Area? Looking to renovate your landscape in a sustainable and eco-friendly way? I provide plant palettes tailored to your specific garden, which gives you a list of easy-to-grow plants that are suitable for your yard from both a beauty and practical standpoint. I’ll consider you and your family’s preferences, including favorite colors, lifestyle and priorities (e.g., birds, bees, insects, useful or edible plants).

If you’re having a decluttering session with me, please do not clean beforehand. I want to see how you live and what your typical environment is like, and we’ll go from there!

You may have heard of Marie Kondo and her book, “The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up: The Japanese Art of Decluttering and Organizing.” If you haven’t, that’s fine; I will walk you through it. It’s a very effective system of going through all your possessions using categories, paying attention to what raises your energy. Decluttering is major for shifting your energy and improving the Feng Shui in a space. Feng Shui can also show you how clutter is impacting you in profound ways. They go hand in hand.

Decluttering and Feng Shui are both beneficial but require different energies. It's best to focus on one at a time. While I'll keep Feng Shui in mind during decluttering, I only wear one hat at a time. If you’re interested in the garden setting, I’m happy to provide either one of the native plant consultations listed above or a Feng Shui consultation focused on your landscape.

Nope–not at all. Feng Shui is the ancient Chinese art and science of spatial arrangement and placement. The goal of Feng Shui is to arrange buildings, rooms, and furniture in the most beneficial way to achieve maximum harmony with nature.

Yes! Some of my favorites for understanding the basic principles of Feng Shui are “The Western Guide to Feng Shui” by Terah Kathryn Collins and any books by Sharon Stasney. Fun fact: Sharon is actually my teacher’s teacher!

Regular life is plenty! But if you need an extra excuse, a consultation can be helpful for moving in, choosing a home, getting settled, setting up an office, conceiving a child, getting married, switching careers, placing or selecting art, and much more. And it’s okay (and normal) if there are multiple things going on in your life at once! We will prioritize and cover a lot of ground in just one session.
